Celia is an up-and-coming actress, who straight out of lockdown has just wrapped on shooting her first leading role in a feature film, due to be released in 2021!
Before turning her hand to acting, Celia grew up working for a prop hire company in West London and it seemed only natural to follow her career in the direction of Set Decoration. She began by working in the Art Department for Film & Television as an assistant to Set Decorators for productions such as “Endeavour” (ITV) The Last Dragon Slayer” (Sky) and “Breathe”, starring Claire Foy and Andrew Garfield. She worked her way up rather quickly, gaining skills and a reputation to have the opportunity (and responsibility!) as the assistant Production Buyer on the Award- Winning film “Victoria & Abdul”, working for Mike Standish; an Oscar-nominated Set Decorator for his work on “The Danish Girl”.
From her experiences working with all manner of budgets, Celia has both an eye for detail in creating the aesthetic for a production, but also has a keener eye on managing the accounts and staying within the budgeting requirements!
Celia then went on to study Musical Theatre at The Urdang Academy graduating in 2017, before going on to further her studies as an actor at The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, ICAT school of Acting and The Actors Door Studio. She has been an associate artist for The New Renaissance Collective Theatre Company since graduating, collaborating on their production of “Venus & Adonis” where Celia made her theatrical debut as the title role of Venus.
At BH Creative, Celia is a Personal Assistant to Brendon – compiling data and researching opportunities for the future of the brand.
