James started working in film in 2012 after leaving a life as a theatre and circus performer which had lasted over a decade.
Working through that network, James quickly became embedded in the dance-film network and went into cinematography full time in 2016.
Since then he has worked on a broad range of projects including commercial shoots with name brands such as GAP & BMW to short films and feature documentaries.
James is an active member of several artist collectives who regularly produce both client and independent films that push the impact of their collective content further.
